Video: Chinese SU Bingtian equals Asia’s fastest men 9.91sec
China sprinting star Su Bingtian has taken back his national record in emphatic style, breezing to victory at the Meeting de Madrid in 9.91 seconds, just three days after seeing his mark felled by Xie Zhenye.

Su equalled Femi Ogunode’s Asian record in the process, a benchmark the Qatari first set in 2015.
After Xie ran 9.97 at the Meeting de Montreuil in Paris on Tuesday – trimming 0.02 seconds off Su’s previous mark – Su slashed 0.08 off his personal best.
Su won comfortably in Madrid, with Italy’s Filippo Tortu second in 9.99.
Su was quick away and never looked back, adding another chapter to his quickly-evolving rivalry with Xie.
The two have long been teammates for China and were part of the relay team that took silver in the 4x100m at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing in 2015.
