Update : Selection Trials – Asian U20 Athletics Championships 2026

Sri Lanka Athletics has announced that the Selection Trials for the Asian U20 Athletics Championships will be held on April 1 and 2, 2026 at the Diyagama Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium.

Athletes born in the years 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 are eligible to participate in these trials. The event will serve as the official selection process to determine Sri Lanka’s representatives for the upcoming championship.

The official entry forms have been published and attached. All athletes are requested to submit their entries on or before March 26, 2026.

In addition, the approved qualifying standards for the Asian U20 Athletics Championships have been released for reference. Sri Lanka Athletics encourages all eligible athletes to prepare thoroughly, as the trials mark the beginning of the nation’s campaign for success at one of Asia’s premier youth athletics events.
