Jefferson-Wooden Blazes to Victory in Brussels 100m

Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, the reigning U.S. national champion, stormed to another 100m victory at the Brussels Diamond League, clocking 10.76 seconds into a headwind. In a stacked field, she outpaced former world champion Sha’Carri Richardson and sprint legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

This marks the seventh time Jefferson-Wooden has dipped under 10.80 seconds in the 100m—a testament to her consistency and elite form. Her season’s best remains 10.65, set at the USA Outdoor Championships final, where she first stamped her dominance.
