Tharusha Dhananjaya

Tharusha Dhananjaya became Sri Lanka’s first school boy athlete to represent Men’s 4x400m relay team in the Asian championship when he represented Sri Lanka at the 2017 Asian Championship where the team comprise of Dilip Ruwan , Ajith Premakumara ,Kalinga Kumarage and Tharusha won a silver medal . following year Tharusha clocked his 400m personal best ,46.83 seconds in Jakartha, Asian Games Test event but since then injuries prevented his progress. 

He changed his coach from former athlete Umanga Surendra to Vimukthi de Soyza but could not found his early success.
