World Junior selection trials on July 25

As previously announced, it is not possible to schedule a date for the National Junior Athletics Championships due to the current situation in the country. However, “Sri Lanka Athletics” is planning to conduct a special selection trial on July 25, 2021 at the Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo to select the athlete for World Junior Athletics Championships to be held in Nairobi, Kenya. As these competitions must be held as per the existing Covid rules, only a select few events will be held, and entry standards of those events are given below. Applications will be issued from July 1, 2021 and should be sent to “Secretary, Sri Lanka Athletics, 33, Torrington Place, Colombo 07” on or before July 15. Documents proving the performances of the relevant events should be submitted with the application.
