Nationals Head to Head – Can Yupun surprise Himasha & Vinoj in 100m & 200m ?

Himasha Eashan was high flying early this year clocking wind aided 10.11 seconds 10.12 seconds and new South Asian and National record of 10.22 seconds where he competed in his third Asian championship.

Vinoj Suranjaya de Silva, his former training partner and closest competitor too was in prime form , clocking 10.27 seconds early this year but following a training accident , De Silva was sidelined for months .

Yupun Priyadarshana , the Italy based sprinter clocked easy 10.31 seconds relaxing towards the end in May 2018 . But an injury followed means he was sidelined there after , missing out from Asian Games and third year’s Asian Championship . 

All Three sprinter will meet for the first time since 2017 indicating a cracker of 100m on cards.. on the cards, Eashan the defending SAG Gold medalist and the record holder looks as the favourite but both Yupun and De Silva has got chances as both of them have beaten Eashan in 100m earlier .
