Dilan qualifies to Youth Olympic Games
Quarter Miler Dilan Bogoda sealed his place in the Youth Olympic Games as he won the first place of the Asian Qulification trials for the youth Olympic games held at Bangkok , Thailand.
Bogoda hailing from Sir John Kothalawala Kurunegala went to to competition as number one ranked athletes from Asian in the under 18 400m and he kept his reputation by clocking 48.62 seconds in the finals to win it . Earlier he clocked 48.66 seconds in advancing to the finals. Bogoda had clocked 48.55 seconds of personal best in last April during Junior Nationals.
Youth Olympic Games will be held from October 6 to 18th in Buenos Aires,Argentina .
