Sheshan finished in heartbreaking 4th place with PB

Hurdler Sheshan Kariyawasam clocked dip under 14 seconds barrier clocked personal best 13.93 seconds in the boys 110m hurdle finals but finished in heartbreaking fourth position at the commonwealth Youth Games yesterday .

Hailing from St. Joseph’s college Maradana, the 17 year who trains under Coach Amila Prasanna did not get a good start as he came hard at last part of the race to finish in fourth place. He also got in to elusive club of Sri Lanka hurdlers who have dip under 14 seconds in any age group which includes very few such as Supun Randeniya and Akila Ravishanka.

Two 400m hurdlers will compete in their finals tonight .
