A team comprising of 11 athletes took wing to India (9) to take part in the upcoming Indian National Athletic Championship, upon an invitation extended by the Athletics Federation of India.
Amasha de Silva, Rumeshika Rathnayaka, Shelinda Jansen, Medhani Jayamanne, Lakshika Sugandhi form the women’s 4x100m women relay team, while Aruna Darshana, Pabasara Niku, Rajitha Rajakaruna, Isuru Lakshan and Dinuka Deshan form the men’s 4x400m relay team.
