Amasha wins Silver in India
Sprinter Amasha de Silva won 100m Silver medal in India clocking seasonal best 11.59 seconds at the 60th Inter state Championship continued at Patiala India. Dhana Lakshmi of Tamilnadu won the gold medal with 11.52 seconds while Archana also from Tamilnadu finished third with 11.60. India’s fastest woman and Asian Games Silver medalist Dutee Chand finished fourth with 11.62 seconds.
Amasha clocked 11.64 seconds to win third heat which worked off at morning where she beat World Junior Gold medalist Hima Das.
