Nationals Head to Head – Will Amila spoil Wimalasiri’s party ?

Janaka Prasad Wimalasiri was the star jumper last year, he represented Sri Lanka in the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games finishing within the top 8 on both the occasions. He leapt 8.14m during the Nationals setting up a New Meet Record and he will be the favourite here to take the title. His closest competitor , Danushka Sandaruan will not be competing at Nationals due to personal reason where Amila Jayasiri and H.G.Sampath are set to provide the closest competition .

Jayasiri the national record holder didn’t had good outing during last year and early this year where he will be eyeing for a better performances. Meanwhile National triple jump record holder , Greshan Dhananjaya too has entered himself for the long jump where if compete, he will be eyeing for long and triple jump double.
