Dilshi dip under 2:10 -breaks 14 year old record

Walala’s middle distance sensation , Dilshi Kumarasinghe announced her self is ready for senior league clocking 2 minutes 09. 13 seconds in the girls under 20 800m, erasing 14 year old record of AAN Sanjeewani’s (2:12.33 seconds ) set in 2004.

Dilshi who finished fifth in the Asian Junior Championship, 2016 is eyeing podium finish already in this year’s Asian Juniors as well as South Asian Junior Championship to be held on 5-6 May in Colombo. Junior Athlete hailing from A.Rathnayake CC Walala also eyeing 400m and 4x400m SL representation as she top the junior 400m rankings .
