Waruna off to Finland for a training targeting commonwealth Games

Javelin Thrower Waruna Lakshan Dayarathne will be off to Finland on Sunday for a training of three months targeting forthcoming Commonwealth Games 2018 .

WAruna’s cleared 80m mark twice earlier this year with best of 82.19m which qualified him for the concluded IAAF World Championship 2017 in London. Waruna’s performance also put him as one of the only two athlete in SL with their performance inside medal prospect in the Commonwealth Games .
