Dasun Silva is a Sri Lankan athlete who represented Sri Lanka in the IAAF World Championship 2013 in Russia . Hailing from St. Sylvester’s College Kandy ,Silva holds the record of Mahaweli Games in both 200m and 400m .
Trained under Yogananda Wijesundara He was adjudged as best Athlete of the Mahaweli Games in year 2011, 212 and 2016 . He also had secure Gold medal in 100m , 200m and 400m at National youth Sports festival .In 2016 he finished second securing silver medal in the 400m at National Sports Festival in Jaffna but failed to qualify for the finals of 400m at first National Selection trials in 2017
