|Biography

Asiri Wijesekara is a up and coming sprinter from Gateway College Colombo who achieved qualifying standards for IAAF World Youth Championship in 2015 and came fourth in the 1st Asian Youth Athletics Championship in same year . Trained under renowned coaches Sunil and Badra Gunawardana , Wijesekara is a holder of 17 all island level school records in sprinting event .
