Four Athletes for Vietnam Open

Athletics Association (AASL) has finalized a team of four athletes for the forthcoming Vietnam Open Athletics Championship to be held on 27th and 28th of this month.

After a lapse of many years, a 3000m steeplechase runner has been included in the team, as RMS Pushpakumara is set to take wing.

Ridma Nishadhi 18 year old Long Jumper from Dharmasoka College Ambalangoda, will be the youngest of the touring team, while 110m hurdler Hasith Nirmal and high jumper from Leeds International School, Poornima Gunarathne, are the others who will make the trip.

Poornima’s coach Nimal Dhamarathne will be the Manager cum Coach of the tour.
