Eashan clocked seasonal best 10.29 seconds in Jamaica

South Asia’s fastest man, Himasha Eashan clocked seasonal best 10.29 seconds in the Utech classic held at National stadium, Jamaica earlier today.
Eashan ran in the fourth final of 100m which feature former World Champion of 100m Yohan Blake and finished sixth competing from first lane.
Eashan trains under Chaminda Perera went to Jamaica for training in high performance center earlier this year through IAAF scholarship as there is no proper synthetic track for training in Sri Lanka.
Earlier Eashan had clocked two sub 10.30 performance when he clocked his personal best 10.26 and 10.28 seconds at South Asian Games earlier in 2016 when he set new Sri Lanka and new South Asian record to win the Gold medaof 100m.
Eashan next race will be Asian Grand Prix series to be held in China and Chinese Taipei on 24th ,27th and 30th April .
